Through a mix of grey hair and youthful passion (!), we’ve built a team of talented social media professionals to help take the stress off your shoulders for managing all things social.
Simon Wright
Simon is a Director at Burning River and the dad half of the father-and-son team behind it.
He’s spent years making films for businesses (around 3,000 of them at last count), which means he’s very good at spotting what will work, what won’t, and when something’s trying too hard. Simon is very hands-on, opinionated (in a useful way!), and obsessed with keeping content clear, human and watchable.
Working with his son Tom keeps things fast, current and occasionally chaotic. Dad jokes are unavoidable. Bad ideas don’t survive long.

TOM WRIGHT
Tom is the Creative Director at Burning River and the son half of the duo.
He leads on filming, editing and creative execution, making sure everything feels native to the platform it’s made for. He’s instinctively creative, quietly obsessive about quality, and very good at translating ideas into content people actually want to watch.
Working with his dad means experience meets instinct, and no one gets away with lazy thinking - even if it does mean listening to the same dad jokes on repeat.

Sales & Social Content
CALLUM WIJKER
Callum works across sales and content at Burning River, helping shape ideas and turning them into content.
He writes articles, creates visual assets, and gets involved in filming and editing, with a particular interest in trends and how culture influences what people actually engage with. He’s always looking at how brands can show up in ways that feel current, without just jumping on things for the sake of it.
When he’s not in the office, he’s usually at the cinema watching the latest release, at home watching a 20-minute tactical breakdown of why his favourite team lost, or making a coffee far too close to bedtime.
Paw-sitive Engagement Officer
TESS
Tess is our Paw-sitive Engagement Officer.
Working closely with the whole team, Tess ensures morale is high, tails are wagging, and everyone’s social engagement stays pawsome.
When Tess is not in the office, she can be found sleeping on a sofa, chasing a ball or getting under people’s feet.
