Better World Award 2025 winner

Today, we’re proud to share that our film, Echoes of Hope has won the 2025 Better World Award run by Geographical Magazine from the Royal Geographical Society.

Narrated by Sir Terry Waite, the documentary tells the story of Beyond Conflict, a global mental health charity supporting survivors of conflict zones, helping to heal minds, change lives and restore hope in communities affected by conflict.

Produced by Burning River in association with Beyond Conflict, and directed and edited by our Creative Director, Tom Wright, the film follows Beyond Conflict's partners on the ground and the people whose lives are being rebuilt through this work.

Reflecting on the film, creative director Tom Wright says,

“Echoes of Hope is a powerful, heart-warming film that tells the story of Beyond Conflict and the work they do with partners around the world to bring hope to people living in conflict zones. It was an honour to work on this project, and an even greater honour to see Echoes of Hope recognised by Geographical Magazine and the Better World Awards.”
